For this DIY Pop-Up you will need:
- Cardstock or heavy construction paper
- Paper clip, or ballpoint pen that has run out of ink, or a knitting needle
- Crayons, colored pencils, markers
1 Download the PDF templates and print out at 100% size (no scaling) on a heavy paper, such as cardstock.
2 Color all of your pieces with crayons or markers before scoring and cutting.
3 Use a ruler or a straight edge and a paper clip to score all the black dotted lines.
4 Next use scissors to cut out all the pieces along the black solid lines.
5 Take the card piece and fold along the dotted line towards you. Unfold.
6 Take Piece B and fold along the middle dotted line away from you. Unfold.
7 Now fold along the diagonal dotted line towards you. Unfold and repeat on the other diagonal dotted line.
8 Now start to fold Piece B in half towards you as you push the upper half and lower half towards you.
9 This is what the piece will look like completely folded. Unfold.
10 Put a small amount of glue on the “Glue A Here” shape.
11 Take Piece A and line up with the “Glue A Here” shape. Press firmly and let dry. Set aside.
12 Take the card piece and put a small amount of glue on the “Glue B Here” shape.
13 Take Piece B and line up the left side with the “Glue B Here” shape. Make sure that the center dotted line of Piece B lines up with the center dotted line of the card. Press firmly and let dry.
14 Lift up the right side of Piece B and put a small amount of glue on the “Glue C Here” shape.
15 Line up the right side of Piece B with the “Glue C Here” shape. Press firmly and let dry.
16 Now close the card all the way.
17 Open the card and you now have your very own teddy bear!
